Two nights ago Elizabeth decided to change her nursing schedule to every 4 hours during the night. I have chosen to do demand nursing rather than schedule nursing because I don't want to force feed her. She has done great with this. Yesterday she began nursing every two hours during the day which sort of threw me for a loop because she had been nursing every 4 hours before. But she was gaining weight and I'm here to nurse her.
We had her third weight check today and she is now at 6 lbs 12.6 oz which is a gain of 3 oz. This made the doctor very happy and said that we won't have to supplement. That makes me happy. So now I'm wanting to pump while she is asleep so I'll have a bottle if we are out shopping and I can't nurse her. I was told to get Fenugreek. We shall see if it works.
We went for a walk today around the park. It was so nice to get out and feel the fresh air and sun. And I think Elizabeth liked it also.

Sounds like Elizabeth is growing and that the nursing is going well. Yeah! Fenugreek makes you smell like maple syrup. There is no harm done, it is just really weird. It did work to help my supply, but then I walked around all day smelling myself. ;-)
