Embroidery....my new hobby

I know.....I have enough going on why add one more thing? But this machine is seriously cool and I can use it in our businesses! So I've been practicing and did made this shirt for Emily this morning.

Elizabeth's 1st of school....Age 3

Elizabeth is back to school at FRB ECC on T/TH. Then she goes to Paula's Preschool and Kindergarten on W/F. She had to have a new backpack and has been loving princesses so she is now the proud owner of Ariel & Flounder backpack.

Dolphin Watch Cruise

We took a spur of the moment trip to Corpus a few weekends ago. While there we wanted to see the Dolphins so we took a Dolphin Watch Cruise. It was AWESOME!!! The profile picture is very similar to one that Pappaw took of Mommy when she was 16.

Dr Bruce says I'm still petite but growing nicely! I LOVE to eat all foods and Mom just grinds up whatever she is eating for my meals. I love chicken, pasta, vegetables, spaghetti, all fruits, potatoes, fish, rice, oatmeal, etc. I'm sitting up on my own, picking up small things, waving backwards, saying AAAAAAAAAAA alot, learning to drink from a sippy (don't like it much), will drink from a straw, love to sit in the swimming pool, love baths since I can play with the toys, love to play with my cousins!

Elizabeth started going to Mrs. Paula's last May during the music festival. Hank already went there and since they are best friends it was an easy adjustment! She loved it so much and learned so much that we decided to continue this summer. She had so much fun playing and meeting new friends!

July 4th

We spent July 4th at home this year. It was a quiet day but we had lots of fun! We watched the parade on the computer and saw AHS Alumni Assoc, Mom, Elissa, Ella and Edie. Tyler bought some fireworks in OK so he had a small show with Elizabeth. She loved the sparklers! Then we sped to the fireworks show at Arlington Highlands and ended up watching them in the Omni America parking lot. (Much better view and no crowd!) Emily slept through her first fireworks. : )

Elizabeth's 1st swim lessons

Elizabeth took swim lessons this summer for the 1st time and LOVED it! She learned how to kick, dig with her arms, put her face in the water, and hold her breath. Mrs. Rhude was her teacher and she was great!

6 months old!

I'm 6 mths old! I LOVE to smile! I wake up smiling, smile when anyone will talk to me, smile during baths, smile when I'm eating, smile just when I'm falling asleep..... you get the idea. I've tried cereals but I don't like them. Mommy even tried to put apple sauce with it but she can't fool me. : ) So I'm a formula kind of girl. At my 6 mth appt the Dr told us that I'm cutting my first tooth! It isn't fun at all!!! But Mommy has the tylenol and baby orajel all ready. She remembered the hellish night when Big Sister cut her first tooth. I'm almost sitting up on my own. I'm turning onto my side but not my tummy and I really hate tummy time! I LOVE my right hand and put it in my mouth a lot! I'm reaching out more and holding on to things. Oh and Mommy let me situp in the stroller the other day. That was fun! I got to see everything and everyone when we picked up Sister from school! I'm still petite at 14 lbs 7.8 oz and 24 inch. (10% length and 25% weight)

Mommy told me last night that she is throwing me a 6 mth birthday party. I wonder what I'll get????

"Miss E" Chair

"Miss E" is the name Pappaw gave Elizabeth when she was just one month old. He has recently stopped calling her that and now calls her Lizzie. But I still love "Miss E" and now it also works for Emily! So I thought it only suitable to take her picture when she is just able to sit up. She is also wearing the onsie from Graceland that her Daddy brought home.

Emily is wearing 3 - 6 mth clothes. The length fits but the body is swallowed.

just started the exersaucer. loves the lights and music but still too short to stand up.

is beginning to sit up on her own in my lap and the bumbo.
