Pride of Texas Music Festival

This has become my festival. I organize, advertise, market, deal with the directors, do the financials, and run the festival. I love it!!! Last year I knew that it had really become a good festival for the niche. However this year after crunching all of the numbers I realized that I can continue to run this festival after Mom and Dad retire and it will bring in more than enough to support the fun stuff Tyler and I do. I can work from home and be a Mommy. That has always been my dream!

The festival is hard work but it is seasonal. I was wondering how I was going to feel being pregnant and working hard. But most women do it. (And I work for my family which means they take good care of each other!) Then I began worrying "what if I forget something" so I made lists. Thankfully we have been running this festival for so long that I now receive emails asking if I need to order anything this time of year. And our Directors are wonderful! They totally support and recommend it to the new Directors. So we are growing and becoming stronger.

I guess I'm just proud of myself for finding a place in the Entrepreneur world where I'm really good and can hold my own. College did pay off.....finally.

And thank the Lord I have a wonderful family that supports me, loves me, and has taught me the great work ethic!
